| | december 9th, 2006: N. Central "Tournament of Roses" didn't break...did really bad...but not my fault cuz their topics were terrible (and it's a varsity tournament)...i got like a 4 4 2...ick.
wedneseday january 3rd - thursday january 4th = all-nighter! slept like an hour and a half. good times...first the mall (and sarah didn't show up becuz she thought it was the next day! sooo scary)...panera, gloria jean's, all the other stores...then my house. foosball, catch phrase, pizza, shirts, catch phrase (LOL), more food and cake and presents and scattergories, movie, magazines, random stuff...
january 6th (today): Reed-Custer "New Year's Invitational" thought i did terrible. really. i knew i screwed up the first round, thought my second was pretty good, and killed my last one...but turns out I BROKE (totally unexpected). of course, i sucked at finals because i just can't speak in front of people i know. never have and most likely never will be able to. still, i managed to get 8th (out of nine...pathetic, i know. but still, it was fun) speaking on the sudan (we have like no sources on it...eek!). my judges contradicted each other, as always: 4 1 1. not bad, but then again, the coaches said (and we all know) that it was an easy tournament.
why is it that all breaks are too short? ~re
